PSYCHOLOGIST, PLAY THERAPIST AND A REMEDIAL TRAINER.
Dr. Taruna is a clinical psychologist by profession, working specifically in the area of learning disability. Her experience in the field of LD is over decade. She has made her own remesial intervention programmed ( RIP) which she is testing as a research. She along with her team has been able to integrate and rehabilitate many children with LD. She has conducted various teacher training sessions. She has worked with a reputed school In Nasik for 6 years as a trainer and child psychologist. She has also been a lecturer for graduate as well as post graduate level at well known colleges of psychology in Nasik. Dr. Taruna is also a freelance writer who writes on social as well as issues related to children. She firmly believes that every child with a specific learning disability has a hidden ‘ABILITY’ that needs to be explored. Giving Nasik a full fledged parallel school for children with special educational needs is what she strives for.
